Located near Katra in the Trikuta Hills, Vaishno Devi Temple is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites in India. Dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, the temple is situated at an altitude of about 5,200 feet and requires a trek of around 12 km from the base camp. Millions of devotees visit each year to seek the blessings of the goddess. The journey is spiritual and scenic, often filled with chants of “Jai Mata Di.” Helicopter and pony services are also available for ease of access.
